At CES 2025, LG showcased its True Wireless technology, allowing users to transmit both audio and video signals wirelessly. For instance, this means you can transmit your PS5 to your TV without directly plugging it into it. This feature was exclusive to the LG OLED evo M series but is now making its way to the QNED evo premium LCD lineup with the QNED9M model.

LG achieves this wireless connection with its Zero Connect Box, which “transmits audio and video wirelessly at up to 144Hz, without latency or loss in picture and sound quality.” It also still meets the criteria for AMD FreeSync Premium, allowing you to wirelessly transmit your gaming PC to your TV without experiencing screen tearing.

Additionally, LG’s new LCD QNED evo TVs feature its Dynamic QNED Color technology, enhancing depth and clarity, and are certified by Intertek (a product testing and certification company) for achieving 100 percent color volume, which means the TVs can produce rich colors in different lighting environments.

LG’s 2025 QNED evo TV will be available in the US later this year. Exact details on models and pricing are expected then as well. LG has recently updated its smart TVs to

support the Xbox app
, enabling users to play Xbox games from the cloud with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate directly on their TVs.
