TLB Mallorca has gone Italian with its new Sacchetto Loafers collection. Aimed at offering maximum comfort while providing a sleek loafer style, the new TLB Sacchetto loafers give Bologna-constructed shoes a’la Spanish style! This new collection offers a mix of classic models fused with newer modern designs in a range of classic colors and materials.

The TLB Sacchetto Loafers collection offers a nice alternative to the heavier Goodyear welted look that dominates the TLB collection. Not that their shoes are heavy, but welted shoes, by nature, have a more protruding sole, offering a more robust silhouette. Bologna style shoes, on the other hand, offer a super-trimmed silhouette with a sleek, thin sole and shallower last shapes. It was smart of TLB to introduce this as we head into a world of a more laid-back style.

While I have never been a huge fan of the low-cut double monk loafer, I must say that the black suede version in this new collection looks quite inviting. The same goes for the brown suede tassel loafers, which are a complete no-brainer. I can imagine these becoming a huge success, especially since TLB was smart enough to use a thin rubber sole as opposed to a leather one. That will increase durability and comfort, in my opinion.

I have always preferred the most robust look of the welted shoe, but I could be tempted by one of these TLB Sacchectto loafers. They will probably align with my slim trouser style. The question remains: How will my feet feel at the end of the day? If they are as comfortable as their Kiowa loafers, then we will all be in for a real treat!
