Biggie Allegedly Apologized Minutes Before His Passing

Tiny Harris is setting the record straight about a long-standing hip-hop moment. During a recent interview, the Xscape singer revealed that The Notorious B.I.G. had apologized for his infamous diss just minutes before he died in 1997.

Fans might remember the shocking lyric from Biggie’s track ‘Just Playin’ (Dreams)’ where he rapped, “I’ll f— RuPaul before I f— them ugly a— Xscape b—–.” The line caused waves at the time, leaving the ladies of Xscape feeling disrespected.

Tiny shared that before his tragic death, Biggie approached her and expressed remorse for the hurtful line. “I don’t know what I was thinking…I just want to say I apologize,” she recalled Biggie Smalls saying. Meanwhile, groupmate Kandi Burruss admitted she passed on hearing what the Brooklyn rapper had to say at the time.

“The girls are more forgiving than I,” Kandi confessed. When someone approached the group saying Biggie wanted to speak with them, Kandi added, “I wouldn’t go over there.”

Tiny also revealed that the late rapper often came to support Xscape’s shows, even attempting to stop by backstage. However, Tiny admitted they consistently turned him away, not wanting to talk with him, adding, “We felt some kind of way.”

Tiny Scores Two Major Legal Victories In Court

Tiny Harris is also counting her blessings after recently securing back-to-back legal victories. The singer and reality star took to social media to thank God for guiding her through recent court battles. Tiny expressed gratitude for two wins against “Satan, who was attempting to attack my family.”

After years of legal battles, T.I. and Tiny Harris have seen courtroom wins recently. Most notably, the couple scored a massive victory in their long-running lawsuit against MGA Entertainment over using the likeness of their daughter Zonnique’s former girl group, OMG Girlz, for the popular L.O.L. Surprise! Dolls. The case nearly hit a setback when the judge attempted to reduce the settlement to $17.8 million, citing a lack of evidence of bad faith by MGA. However, the judge reversed course, officially affirming the jury’s full award. T.I., Tiny Harris, and the OMG Girlz reportedly received $71.5 million in total damages.

In a separate case, the couple also saw the dismissal of a defamation lawsuit filed against them by influencer Sabrina Peterson. The suit, initially filed in 2021, alleged defamation, emotional distress, and more, including claims that T.I. had once put a gun to Peterson’s head. However, a Los Angeles judge dismissed the case in March 2025 after Peterson failed to pursue it actively.

Additionally, a contempt charge related to unpaid legal fees was dropped. Speaking outside court, Peterson expressed exhaustion from the years-long legal battle. She said, “I’m tired. This has gone on for four or five years.” With both cases now closed, Tiny and the rapper appear ready to move forward—legally vindicated and spiritually grateful.
