Theatrical Bar Takeovers : Marseille Bob’s

In celebration of Wes Anderson’s latest film, The Phoenician Scheme, Bob Bob Ricard in London’s Soho launched a limited-edition menu and Marseille Bob’s takeover, complete with decor and staff outfits in Anderson’s signature style.

The pop-up bar transformed the Red Room beneath Bob Bob Ricard into Marseille Bob’s, a location featured in the film. Naturally, the immersive experience brings theatricality to food and drinks with menu items like Tycoon on the Rocks a pipette-served margarita that changes color to resemble a poison test, and the Handgranade, a white Negroni twist. Other references to the film include themed bites like salted pretzels and smoked anchovies with bread and butter.

The Phoenician Scheme debuted May 23rd, and the takeover began the same day and will last until 22 June.
