According to the latest report from Redanian Intelligence, Geralt will mount a knocker, a hulking, kobold-like beast of its subspecies. Actor Adam Basil, known for The Last of Us, Venom, and Rings of Power, has been cast as the knocker in the upcoming seasons of the show. In the source Sapkowski books, Geralt encounters Avallac’h on top of Mount Hagen, then takes the knocker to get down the cliff while the elf looks on.
The climb is bumpy, the descent euphoric, and an offbeat favorite finally to be realized on screen would mark one of the most hilarious moments in the final seasons. In the actual scene, Geralt holds a notable conversation with the knocker and surely enjoys his ride down the mountain piggybacking on the giant hairy creature.
