The most-searched spring break destinations of 2025… Is your trip on the list?

Spring break season is almost here and travelers are beginning to search for flights.

Spirit Airlines collected data on its most-searched spring break destinations through web searches for travel between March 1 and April 19.

This year, some of the airports travelers were looking to fly to are down south, out west, and on an island, with customers favoring warm weather locations.

Rana Ghosh, Senior Vice President and Chief Transformation Officer at Spirit, confirmed the searches were to fly to places in Florida, Nevada, and Puerto Rico.

‘Spring break is a great time to choose to fly in style and enjoy the value and enhanced experience that Spirit’s new travel options offer,’ he said in the press release.

Millions of international and domestic flights will operate between March and April, and Spirit plans to operate nearly 13,000 between March 14 and 31.

Prices are also on the rise, and several airlines have begun offering March-April flight tickets starting at $400.

With that in mind, here are Spirit’s most-searched spring break destinations.

More than four million fliers flew out of LAS in April 2024, and the airport is expected to see a higher number this year.

Many Spirit airline fliers looking to spend their spring break on an island searched for flights to Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport (SJU) in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Spirit is a major airline in San Juan and Aguadilla – two popular spring break destinations in Puerto Rico.

The island is full of beaches and also has affordable hotel rates, according to the Caribbean Journal.

Flights outside the US are usually more expensive, which is a reason why all Spirit flights to SJU start at more than $40.
