April Fools’ Day is here and while big-name tech companies like Google, Apple, Samsung and more have opted out of this year’s annual joke-fest, several other tech companies like Dyson, T-Mobile and more are filling the void with joke products, silly announcements, and funny videos designed to help you get through your mid-week blues with a smile.
We’ve been scouring the Internet for the best tech jokes so far today and here’s what we’ve found so far.
MEAT-AI glasses
Grilled to perfection
Look, I’m as tired as you are of AI being injected into everything but this April Fools’ joke from grilling company Traegar almost seems like it could be a real product: the world’s first AI‑powered grilling eyewear. The fake product purports to use smart guidance, thermal imaging, night‑vision, and hands‑free photo and video capture to help you sear your steaks to perfection, and has extra features that include night vision for grilling in the dark.
Project R.O.A.C.H.
A new kind of controller for The Witcher 3
Look, as much as I love The Witcher 3, as an 11-year-old game, I haven’t found very many reasons to return to the Continent in recent years. However, if this April Fools’ joke about a new, hobby horse-inspired controller were real, I just might boot up the game for one more ride… literally.
Dyson Beauty pet range
Because Fido needs a better hair care routine
If you’ve ever looked at your Dyson Airarap and thought about using it on your cat, dog, or horse, it looks like the folks at Dyson are on your wavelength…at least for April Fools’! The company announced today its Dyson Beauty Pet Range, which “is designed to bring high performance styling to furry companions of all shapes, sizes, tails, and temperaments as well as fur-types.” According to Dyson’s product page, options in this line include:
- The Airwrap Fur: A slim, feline friendly Airwrap for precision curling of delicate chest fluff and perfectly sculpted whisker-adjacent waves.

T-Mobile CALLoGNE
That new phone feeling, bottled
Though new car smell has been bottled over and over again, T-Mobile is challenging the tech-obsessed to look to their pocket for their next iconic fragrance with CALLoGNE, which aims to replicate the feeling of “freshly peeled screen protector,” and “that first text feeling” with its fake Eau de New Phone.
