Amazon Prime Day is right around the corner, but you can start reaping the rewards right now. If you’re in the market for a new streaming stick, look no further than Amazon’s Fire TV Stick 4K Max. While it’s a mouthful of a name, this is one of the best streamers on the market, and you’ll be able to stay up to date with your favorite shows and movies once you get it plugged into your TV.
I have one myself, and it’s a solid device that can slot right into any 4K TV and make a huge difference, especially if it means you get to leave behind your TV’s interface. If you have other Alexa devices in your home, this Fire TV Stick will interact seamlessly with them.

The Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max goes on sale quite a bit, but that doesn’t mean it’s not worth jumping on when the price drops low enough. At $35, I’d consider this to be a steal. With 16 GB of storage, this model doubles the storage included with the last Fire TV 4K Stick Max, and it means you should be able to install just about anything you can think of. Even though it’s a streaming stick instead of a box, I’m still impressed by its speed, largely thanks to the 2.0 Ghz quad-core processor.
An advantage Fire TV sticks have over their competition is native Xbox Game Pass support. While you don’t install the games directly onto the stick, you can play anything that supports cloud gaming on Game Pass through the Fire TV Stick. It’s a neat feature you can take advantage of provided you have a strong enough Internet connection and an Xbox controller laying around somewhere.
