Being single should be fun—just ask Amanda Batula.

The Summer House star—who announced her separation from husband Kyle Cooke in January—shared an update on her post-breakup mindset, revealing that the end of her four-year marriage has proven to be a positive move forward thus far.

“Honestly, I feel like I’m on cloud nine. Unstoppable,” she told Marie Claire in an interview published March 3, adding that she’s “never been happier.”

But that doesn’t mean the 34-year-old’s decision to part ways with Kyle, 43, came easily. In fact, she admitted that the period leading up to their split was “really heavy,” noting that neither of them “wanted to pull the trigger” on ending the relationship.

“We were both struggling with the decision to call it quits, and that’s where I faded away and lost myself a bit,” she explained. “But it just got to a point where I knew I had given the relationship everything I had, and there was no fight left in me. We looked at each other like, ‘This isn’t going to go anywhere.’”
