Want to give yourself a confidence boost when you’re feeling down in the dumps? I’m Jeff Alen, the Big Game Hunter. People hire me for no BS job search coaching and career advice globally because I make the process of finding work and succeeding at it much easier. One way you can do it is to update your LinkedIn profile with a nice new up-to-date photo of yourself dressed well, a great headline. You can use AI to help you with that. More recommendations: reach out to people from your past and ask them to write a recommendation for you. They have to be a first-level connection, and you may have to draft it for them and send it to them so that they can just edit it. But whatever it is, get more recommendations on your LinkedIn profile. You know, when you look better, when you update your profile, every time you do that, recruiters start reaching out to you. The algorithm recognizes that you’re looking to work, looking for work, and it wants to recommend you. Maybe, if possible, you have some version of a portfolio or white paper that you can add to the site. Maybe you’ve got a website as well that you can put on your profile. Whatever it is, update your LinkedIn profile so that this way people can see you at your best. I have a lot of great information available for you for free at jobsarch.com/community. Go to the site, download the free stuff, watch it at your convenience, come back and become an insider, or just do it right then and there. I’ve got a lot of information there to help you.
