After more than a decade, Southern Charm is still showing off Charleston’s charm, beauty and of course, drama, and season 11 will be no different.
Bravo announced in May that the reality show was renewed for season 11 — and filming had already begun. Shooting wrapped mid-summer, according to social media posts from the cast.
As fans wait to see exactly what will transpire this season, OG star Shep Rose exclusively told Us Weekly that drama between he and longtime pals Craig Conover and Austen Kroll can be expected — but only when it comes to all of them together.
“Me and Craig are fine, let’s put it that way. Me and Craig are totally fine, and me and Austen are totally fine,” Shep teased on July 29. “As a whole, it’s a little rocky, but it’s interesting. And we’ll always love each other. There’s no doubt about that.”

What Happened at the End of Season 10?

Craig found himself in the hot seat during the season 10 reunion, which aired in April, getting called out by his castmates for his temper. “You’re from, like, an ivory tower, man, sometimes of, like, superiority,” Austen claimed during the episode.
Craig fired back, “If you think I look down on you, you know that’s not my character. … If you think that I think that I’m better than you, you shouldn’t be friends with me.”
Most of the cast later raised their hands when asked if he “scared” them with his temper. Craig confessed, “I’m working on it” and ended on OK terms with everyone.
The reunion also showed Venita Aspen bringing receipts from her drama with Jarrett “JT” Thomas, who sparked a romance with her during the season — but also became Instagram official with another woman during the same time frame. Venita and JT decided that if the other woman was still in his life that Venita couldn’t work toward repairing their friendship.
Who Is Returning for Season 11?

Shep, Craig and Austen are all set to return as is Venita, Madison LeCroy, Rodrigo Reyes and newbies Molly O’Connell, Salley Carson and Ryan Albert. Whitney Sudler-Smith hasn’t been as prominent the past couple of seasons but is expected to appear on the season alongside his mother, Patricia Altschul.

JT announced in November 2024 that he “resigned” from Southern Charm in the midst of filming season 10 — which fans watched unfold later in the season. He opted not to do the remainder of his confessionals for backend of the season but did return for the reunion. He will not be featured on season 11.
Leva Bonaparte announced her departure from the series in March after the conclusion of season 10. “I don’t have a very salacious personal life to share but I do have a lot going on,” she joked via an Instagram statement. “And frankly I’m working on some pretty cool stuff that I hope to share more of soon!”
Leva noted that viewers might see her “at a party or two” during season 11 and that she would return for season 4 of the spinoff Southern Hospitality. (Leva was part of the cast since its 2014 premiere. She was upgraded to a full-time cast member during season 7.)
Taylor Ann Green revealed in April that she was “stepping away” from the show ahead of the new season. “These past 5 years with NBC and Bravo have been some of the most crazy but exciting times of my life,” she wrote via Instagram. “I will forever be thankful to the network, production teams, Bravo family and all the fans for ultimately cheering me on to where I am today.”
Taylor was introduced to fans during season 7 in 2020 as Shep’s girlfriend. The pair broke up in July 2022 after two years of dating. Taylor began dating Gaston Rojas the following year.
Are There Any New Stars?

When Did Filming Take Place?

The cameras began rolling in spring, including parts of Madison’s baby shower in May, according to photos shared by Patricia. Shooting ended in July, according to Salley and Rodrigo, who both shared messages via social media about making it through the season.
“That’s a wrap,” Salley captioned a teary-eyed selfie via her Instagram Story on July 17, according to Entertainment Now. She added Reba McEntire’s “I’m a Survivor” alongside the photo, hinting that it was a tough season to film.
Rodrigo posted his own Instagram Story at the time, captioning it, “Survived SC11.”
What Has Craig Conover Said About the New Season?

“Season 11’s a monster season. Everyone’s going to be really excited,” Craig told Interview magazine in a story published on July 23. “I haven’t felt like this in a couple years.”
He promised, “You get to see a lot of new chapters in people’s lives,” seemingly referring to the next phase in his life without Paige DeSorbo. (The couple called it quits in late 2024 after three years of dating.)
Craig also shared that he and Austen were “opening a wedding venue in Charleston, even though we can’t stop fighting,” hinting that their friendship ups and downs are far from over.
When it comes to his relationship with Shep, Craig told the outlet, “Shep and I are in a great place, so it’s fun to do it together.”
What Did Shep Rose Tease About Season 11?

“I’m not going to speak for him, but he is coming off that breakup — very public breakup — [so] get ready,” Shep exclusively teased to Us on July 29 of Craig’s story arc on the upcoming season. “I really think it’s going to be a fantastic season.”
Shep noted that Craig had to “recalibrate everything” after his split from Paige, and viewers will “really get to see that.”
How Did Madison LeCroy Make It Through Filming While Pregnant?

Madison gave birth to her second baby, daughter Teddi, on June 29 and while both she and baby are happy and healthy, she exclusively told Us that filming pregnant was a nightmare. “It was honestly, like, probably one of the worst things I’ve ever had to do,” Madison told Us in July of the shooting process.
She joked, “I don’t know if it was one, being dead sober or two, just being extremely heavy and very hot. I was dying.” (Madison shares son Hudson with ex-husband Josh Hughes and daughter Teddi with husband Brett Randle.)
When Will Season 11 Premiere?
