Scotts Miracle-Gro (NYSE:SMG) +2.7% post-market Thursday after saying it is transferring its wholly-owned Hawthorne Collective subsidiary to an undisclosed independent strategic partner, marking the first step in separating its cannabis-related businesses from its core lawn and garden operations.
