Samsung TV owners just got a new free live sports channel

When you think of FAST (free ad-supported TV) channels, services like The Roku Channel, Tubi, or Plex likely come to mind. However, one of the biggest FAST platforms is actually Samsung TV Plus, and it has recently been revealed that it’s making a major move into live sports.

Samsung TV Plus has announced a new multi-year partnership with V10 Entertainment that will bring MotoAmerica, North America’s premier professional motorcycle racing series, to the platform for free. That includes every race from the 2026 and 2027 seasons.

The 2026 MotoAmerica season features 10 major racing events, kicking off with the Daytona 200 on March 6. Those races will initially stream on the Samsung TV Network within Samsung TV Plus. After that, they’ll live on a brand-new FAST channel called MotoAmericaTV, which Samsung says will be a free 24/7 channel dedicated entirely to MotoAmerica, with live races, replays, practice sessions, and qualifying rounds.

“As Samsung TV Plus continues to broaden its live sports portfolio, this new content strengthens our lineup by providing an immersive, accessible, and dedicated destination for motorcycle racing,” said Salek Brodsky, senior vice president and global head of Samsung TV Plus, in a press release.

If you’re interested in checking out Samsung TV Plus, it’s available on a wide range of Samsung devices, including Samsung smart TVs, Galaxy devices, Samsung Smart Monitors, and even its Family Hub smart fridges. While it’s exclusive to Samsung hardware, the company says the service now reaches more than 100 million active monthly users.

Which, honestly, isn’t that surprising. Beyond the upcoming MotoAmericaTV FAST channel, Samsung TV Plus already offers hundreds of free live TV channels and thousands of movies and shows you can stream on demand, so I can see why people would be drawn to it.

For sports fans especially, there’s a lot to like. The lineup includes channels such as the NFL Channel, MLB Channel, PGA Tour, and UFC. Additionally, in 2025, Samsung expanded its free sports offering with five new channels, including NHL games from Dallas and Anaheim, the Roku Sports Channel, NASCAR, and PBR RidePass.

More broadly, Samsung TV Plus also features several exclusive channels you won’t find on other FAST platforms, including Letterman TV, Conan O’Brien TV, The Ringer from Spotify, and Billboard TV.
