Robert Irwin has no problem stripping off his shirt for any event.
Robert, 21, who is the son of Terri Irwin and the late Steve Irwin, showed off his sculpted abs as he announced he’ll be starring on season 34 of Dancing With the Stars on Tuesday, April 22. As he revealed himself, Robert took off his shirt and walked up to a Dancing With the Stars stage in nothing but brown khaki pants. In true Irwin family style, his deadly accessory was a live snake that he wrapped around his neck.
Robert later opened up about how excited he is to compete in the dancing show while chatting with Good Morning America.
“It was my mom and then it was my sister,” he said when asked who he broke the news to first. “I sat them down and I said, ‘Guys, I have a really big announcement.’ And I kid you not, [the] first thing Bindi said was, ‘You’re doing Dancing With the Stars.’” Bindi Irwin, 26, also competed on DWTS and even won the show in 2015.
“There were squeals from Australia that you could hear here,” Robert quipped.
Robert’s hot shirtless moment comes after his steamy Bonds Australia underwear campaign earlier this month.

For the photoshoot, he wore nothing but boxer briefs and, again, let wild animals slither across his body. In one shot, he flexed his abs while a massive snake crawled around his neck and chest. In another, he sported a pair of the brand’s gray underwear as a spider explored his arm.
At the time, he told People he prepared for the photoshoot by following a strict diet. “I’ve done more sit-ups and had less carbs than I ever have in my life, but it’s been fun,” he said. “I wanted to look my best and to feel my best and just feel really confident.”
On DWTS, it seems that he is also in it to win it (and is already stealing the show).
