Rebranded Performance-Enhancing Engineering Systems : Engineering System

DAHON — a brand regarded as a pioneer in folding bicycle technology — has rebranded its performance-enhancing ‘D-VELO’ engineering system as ‘DAHON-V.’ This marks a new phase in the company’s pursuit of cycling innovation.

The updated nomenclature reflects both the technological evolution of the engineering system and its broader application across different bicycle categories, with the ‘V’ representing ‘Victory.’ The DAHON-V system represents a fundamental reengineering of bicycle architecture — one that addresses historical weaknesses in folding bike design through innovations like the DELTECH frame and Super Down Tube. For conventional road bikes, the technology optimizes power transfer efficiency while maintaining lightweight characteristics.

This rebranding follows extensive field testing and media coverage of DAHON-V equipped models like the Vélodon C8 Di2 and Télodon C8 AXS, which have demonstrated the technology’s ability to enhance speed, stiffness, and durability in both folding and conventional road bike configurations.
