The RUF CTR1 ‘Redbird’ is a one-off 1989 Lightweight scheduled for auction during Monterey Car Week by RM Sotheby’s. Finished in a custom Bordeaux Red—making it the only CTR1 ever painted in this shade—it was personally driven by engineer Alois Ruf and now carries an estimated value between $4.5 and $5 million.

One of only six Lightweight variants ever built, the car features a matching-numbers twin-turbo 3.4L flat-six, custom telemetry, heated glass, power windows, and weight-saving materials throughout.
