The Sony INZONE H9 II is a flagship wireless noise-cancelling gaming headset introduced in August 2025 as part of Sony’s expanded INZONE lineup developed in collaboration with esports organization Fnatic. It is built around the same 30 mm soft-edge carbon fiber dome driver units used in Sony’s WH-1000XM6 headphones, delivering balanced, full-spectrum clarity for both game and multimedia audio. Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) operates in both wired and wireless modes, while support for 360° spatial sound provides precise directional cues, enhancing player immersion during competitive play.

Connectivity options include a dedicated low-latency 2.4 GHz USB-C dongle, Bluetooth LE, and wired USB-C, allowing simultaneous smartphone and console/PC pairing. The headset features a detachable cardioid boom microphone with Super Wide Band (SWB) and AI-optimized noise-filtering precision, ensuring clear team communication in noisy environments. Weighing approximately 260 g and equipped with a redesigned headband structure and plush ear cushions, the H9 II remains comfortable through extended sessions. Battery life is rated up to 30 hours per charge, and users can customize EQ settings and surround-sound profiles via the Sony INZONE Hub or browser-based interface.
