An official vehicle has also been spotted outside the residence.

The alleged culprits have ordered that they receive the funds before Monday at 5pm local time.

KGUN 9 in Tucson, Arizona, reported that the note threatens the 84-year-old’s life if her loved ones do not hand over the hefty sum by the deadline.

The outlet said that it was sent the ransom note demanding millions and that several other media organizations received the same disturbing letter.

Newsrooms including TMZ and KOLD have reportedly been receiving ransom notes for Nancy. Authorities have not verified the legitimacy of those notes.

The Pima County Sheriff’s Office has issued a vague update on the Nancy Guthrie investigation.

Officials said that the investigation is ‘ongoing’ and that ‘follow-up continues at multiple locations.’

There are still no suspects, persons of interest or vehicles tied to the case.

Law enforcement vehicles were seen arriving at Annie Guthrie’s Tucson, Arizona, home on Sunday morning.

Authorities had just searched the home the night before, taking pictures inside for several hours before leaving the residence where Nancy Guthrie, the daughter of Today host Savannah Guthrie, was last seen.

Reports indicate that several vehicles are stationed outside the home, including a Pima County Sheriff’s Department car.

The deputy inside did not immediately leave the vehicle, per Fox News.

Law enforcement officials were seen probing Annie Guthrie’s home during a late-night operation on Saturday.

The Tucson, Arizona, residence is the last place her mother, Nancy, was seen before she was reported missing last Sunday.

NewsNation correspondent Brian Entin shared footage from the scene, writing that authorities were ‘starting to leave Annie Guthrie’s house after three hours’ at around 10:30 pm local time.

Officers were seen taking photographs inside the property for several hours.

A silver briefcase was also seen being carried inside by an agent. Reporters at the home struggled to see what officers were photographing or seizing inside.

Annie’s home was searched earlier in the week, as cops said that she and her husband Tommaso Cioni were the last people to see Nancy after having dinner and a game night with her on January 31.

The 84-year-old vanished hours later from her home.

He added that the Guthries had demonstrated ‘extraordinary discipline under unimaginable grief and pressure’ until now.

‘They have moved from an emotional plea, to a proof-of-life demand, to a public offer to pay,’ he said. ‘Every step was designed to keep the line of communication open and lower every possible barrier to Nancy’s safe return.’
