Pluto TV just added 6 new free channels, including mystery, sci-fi, comedy, and more

Pluto TV already offers hundreds of FAST (free ad-supported TV) channels and thousands of shows and movies you can stream on demand for free, but that isn’t stopping it from adding even more.

To kick off March, Pluto TV has added six new FAST channels to its growing lineup, which already includes big names like The X-Files, Survivor, Bob Ross, and more. The six new channels cover a wide range of popular genres, including science fiction, home improvement, comedy, and mystery.

The first new channel I want to highlight is Star Trek: The Motion Pictures, which is available for a limited time and airs all 13 theatrical Star Trek movies for free. So if you’re a fan of the series or new to it, this is a great way to catch up on every era of Star Trek, from the original series starring William Shatner to the Kelvin timeline, which features recent films like Star Trek, Star Trek Into Darkness, and Star Trek Beyond.

Besides Star Trek, there are two other highlights I want to mention: the new MTV Ridiculous channel, which airs episodes of the popular MTV comedy show Ridiculousness, where the hosts react to funny and sometimes dangerous videos from the internet, with a celebrity guest joining each episode. The other highlight is the 24/7 Property Brothers channel, featuring episodes of the popular home-improvement series hosted by Drew and Jonathan Scott, as they help families turn fixer-uppers into dream homes.

Here are the six new channels just added to Pluto TV:

  • Unexplained Zone
  • World of Love Island
  • GrowthDay
  • MTV Ridiculous
  • Property Brothers
  • Star Trek: The Motion Pictures

You can easily find any of these channels on Pluto TV using the search feature or in the live TV channel guide.

More recent additions to Pluto TV

You can find more free movies and shows on apps like Plex and Tubi

Pluto TV on LG TV.

Pluto TV has recently added some other popular shows and movies on-demand, including all 100 episodes of the science fiction series The Fringe, which features FBI agent Olivia Dunham, a member of a fringe science task force investigating cases that are beyond human knowledge.

Back in January, Pluto TV also added all 11 seasons of The X-Files available to stream on-demand for free or through the X-Files FAST channel. If you’re unfamiliar with The X-Files, it’s a hit series from the 1990s that follows FBI agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully as they investigate paranormal cases.

Pluto TV also recently added a 24/7 Survivor channel, where you can watch episodes from all 49 seasons of the reality TV survival show.

Beyond Pluto TV, if you’re looking for more free TV to check out, I would recommend trying apps like The Roku Channel, Plex, and Tubi if you haven’t already. The Roku Channel has over 500 FAST channels, Plex has over 600, and Tubi has over 260. Prime Video also offers free channels, even if you aren’t a Prime member.
