Commodity carefully crafts scents with varying levels of projection, some designed to sit intimately on skin with low-projection notes, and others—made for the enjoyment of the wearer and everyone else—are room-filling. As the modern fragrance brand puts it, “Personal stays close. Expressive is balanced. Bold turns heads.” As far as where Editions fall, they’re well-balanced with notable projection, making them most like the Expressive Scent Space.
Commodity’s first-ever collaboration is a floral gourmand fragrance developed with Emma of Perfumerism, the scent design student who popularized milky fragrances with a milk perfume series on TikTok. Milk Orchid is described as her dream take on the brand’s iconic Milk scent, reimagined with fig milk, vanilla orchid, and magnolia.
