Tokyo-based design firm Metal Goat Studio has come up with the design of the Kogani. It is a smart speaker holder that takes on the visual inspiration from a crab. It looks like it has been made out of origami paper, and its main function is to hold smart speakers in a stylish way at home.
It is compatible with devices including the Google Nest Mini, the HomePod Mini, and the Echo Dot. This Kogani design is a part of the brand’s Capsule Animal series, which is a range of interior pieces integrated with smart technologies and rooted in compact geometries and animal references. The name ‘Kogani’ stems from the Japanese word for ‘small crab.’
