Boulder Park is organized into distinct zones — an intergenerational boulder playground, a water garden with interactive streams, and forested areas. All of these spaces incorporate natural materials and digital fabrication to create immersive environments.
For the design of Boulder Park, XISUI Design utilizes advanced robotic concrete printing to create monolithic, organically-shaped play structures with layered textures that intentionally resemble canyon walls. The forms are reportedly impossible through conventional construction methods. These artificial boulders incorporate functional play elements like slides, tunnels, and climbing surfaces while maintaining safety through rounded edges and smooth finishes.
