Nick Hogan publicly acknowledged his late father Hulk Hogan’s widow, Sky Daily, for her ongoing support.
After Daily, 46, posted a birthday tribute to Nick, 35, via Instagram on Sunday, July 27, Nick left a heartfelt response.
“Thank you so much Sky, I really appreciate everything you did for my father and are doing for all of us at this time,” he commented on Sky’s shared photo of himself hugging Hulk, who died on Thursday, July 24, after suffering a cardiac arrest at his Florida home at the age of 71.
Daily, a yoga instructor, was the retired WWE star’s third wife and married Hulk in September 2023 after dating for more than one year. Nick is the son of Linda Hogan, Hulk’s first wife who was married to him from 1983 to 2009. (Hulk’s second wife was Jennifer McDaniel after marrying her in 2010 and separating in 2021.)
Daily’s birthday tribute to Nick, whose birthday was Sunday, included a touching message that reflected on Nick’s relationship with his late father. “Happy birthday @nickhogan! We love you so much. Your dad couldn’t have been prouder of the son you are… loyal, loving, hard-working, and always there when it mattered most. The strength and heart you’ve shown all along means more than I can say. I’m so grateful for you, and I know Terry felt the same every single day,” Daily’s message read. (Hulk’s real name was Terry Gene Bollea.)
Us Weekly confirmed via the Clearwater Police Department and Hulk’s family on Thursday that Hulk passed away earlier that day. The wrestler was taken to a local hospital after the incident where he was pronounced dead, with TMZ first reporting the news.
The news came after Us revealed exclusively in June that Hulk was on the mend following a major heart operation. “Hulk had pretty serious heart surgery a few weeks ago and was doing well afterward,” a source told Us at the time.

One day after news of Hulk’s death circulated online, Daily broke her silence via a heartbreaking Instagram tribute. “I wasn’t ready for this … and my heart is in pieces,” she wrote on Friday, July 25. “He had been dealing with some health issues, but I truly believed we would overcome them. I had so much faith in his strength. I thought we still had more time. This loss is sudden and impossible to process. To the world, he was a legend … but to me, he was my Terry. The man I loved. My partner. My heart.”
Nick shared his own tribute to Hulk via Instagram one day after Daily’s post went live. “Thank you to everyone who has reached out to me and comforted me over the last few days. It truly means a lot,” Nick penned via the social media platform on Saturday, July 26. “I’m sorry to everyone I have not responded to yet. This has been overwhelming and extremely difficult. Hearing so many kind words and stories about my dad’s life, interactions and experiences with everyone has been incredible and comforting.”
The post was accompanied by a carousel of snaps that showed Nick and his dad throughout the years.
