This Summer, it is all about thin soles, unlined leathers, and sleek profiles. Yearn’s Capri loafers capture all of that, plus add a unique element not really found elsewhere: highly textured unlined grain leather.
Yearn stepped away from the world of hand-welted footwear by making this collection in a Blake-Stitched construction, for the ultimate in flexibility and, for many, the ultimate in comfort. While blake-stitched isn’t my first choice for most shoes, I can understand their logic as it is the leading construction in the world of shoes. The beauty of it is also that it offers a lower price for something that might not be put to use as daily as your dress shoes.

Yearn’s Capri loafers come at the very reasonable price of just $295. On top of that, Yearn is offering an exclusive discount code on this new collection for a limited time. Until August 31st, you can use code CAPRI2025 for 10% off any Capri model you purchase. Note: This is not a cart-wide discount. Only a model discount.
I really like the unique grain leather that they sourced from Italy. It looks like buffalo hide, but is simply a calfskin. It appears to be really soft and luxurious. That ideally equates to a nice feeling when on the feet. Yet, most never assume a grain leather that is meant for proper shoes is one that you would go unlined and maybe sockless with. Yearn is breaking the mold here.

In light of the complex world of tariffs, those of you in the US will be pleased to know that the shoes will arrive tariff-free. Yearn has contracted with a shipping company that offers a service that encompasses this charge to the brand. But, it does mean a slightly slower service. I think that it is a happy trade-off, though!
