Estudio Galho designed the Genipadu Sideboard which is a poetic take on nature as the main inspiration. It specifically nods to the Genipadu dunes in Natal, Rio Grande do Norte in Brazil. The location is known for its sweeping curves and mesmerizing landscape which creates a seamless flow and pattern.
The furniture comes as a piece of dynamic movement, making it a sculptural piece of art for the home. At a quick look, the sideboard’s flowing shape is the most stark detail. It is defined by its soft curves which reflect the natural waves of wind along the sand. This way, it creates a special texture that feels organic and purposeful. The sideboard invites touch, and the door handles are sculptured into the body.
