The Pro Tripod by Peak Design has been created by the off-grid accessory brand as a tactical, rugged photography accessory that will keep up with the demands of adventurous shutterbugs.

The tripod was designed with the help of mountaineer Jimmy Chin and boasts a flanged carbon fiber center column alongside a CNC-machined aluminum hub. The tripod is paired with an ultra-strong 3K weave carbon fiber for the leg sections to give the unit unparalleled durability without increasing the overall weight.

The Pro Tripod by Peak Design comes in the Pro Lite, Pro and Pro Tall model options that will accommodate the needs of any explorer looking to capture the perfect shot when out in the field. The tripods are being funded as part of a Kickstarter campaign.
