The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Jessi Draper is thanking fans for their support amid her divorce from Jordan Ngatikaura.
“Hey guys, I just wanted to say thank you so much for all the love and support from my ‘Call Her Daddy’ episode. I wasn’t expecting it. It’s just been so great to see all of your messages. And also women who have been through something similar, I’m just so glad that it could help you and you could resonate with it,” Jessi said via her Instagram Story on Thursday, March 26, one day after her tell-all episode on Alex Cooper’s podcast aired. “I wanted to say thank you so much for that.”
She continued, “I know there’s a rebuttal coming. I know that Jordan’s most likely going to do his own thing. He’s allowed to tell his story, so that’s totally fine. But yeah, doing this was scary because it will start a war, but I think it’s important to speak your truth as a woman, and especially when you’ve been in a situation like this.”
Jessi concluded her message by thanking her fans “from the bottom of [her] heart” for “taking the time out of your day to listen” and to “say the nice and kind words you guys have” after her interview.
News broke on March 19 that Jordan filed for divorce from Jessi after five years of marriage. The pair welcomed son Jagger and daughter Jovi in 2020 and 2023, respectively.
In a statement to Us Weekly, Jordan shared that filing for divorce “has not been an easy decision and it comes with a heavy heart.”
“I’m grateful for the shared memories and the lessons,” the statement read. “While our paths are now moving in different directions, my priority remains my children and ensuring they feel loved, supported, and protected through this transition.”
The statement continued, “I am committed to handling this next chapter with kindness and respect. I kindly ask for privacy and understanding as we navigate this as a family.”
The next day, Jordan filed a temporary restraining order (TRO) request and Jessi filed her opposition on Friday, March 20, per court documents obtained by Us. The TRO request was denied on Tuesday, March 24.
Jessi later shared her side of the story on the Wednesday, March 25, episode of the “Call Her Daddy” podcast.
“In the last year, I’ve told him, actually, a few different times I want to get divorced. But he always calms me down,” Jessi claimed. “I had been in limbo for a while, and anyone that’s lived in limbo knows it’s excruciating. Where I’m like, ‘I don’t know if this is right or not.’ I literally woke up one day and — it’s such a simple thought — but I was like, ‘I can change this. I can change my life. I can be happy.’”
She continued, “It was like something flipped and I was like, ‘I’m done,’ and I could not go back after that.”
Jessi alleged that she told Jordan on March 13 that she wanted a divorce, claiming that the pair “made an agreement to do it together.” She further claimed that she learned about Jordan’s divorce filing after receiving a message from TMZ.
“We agreed to tell our children together before filing, and we haven’t done that,” she said, calling it “a betrayal.”
