Minimal Flat-Pack Design : arba

The ARBA collection by Erwan Bouroullec continues its quiet evolution with new pieces that expand on the core idea of minimal intervention and poetic form. Crafted in collaboration with Workshop Chair, the designs rely on a subtle visual rhythm that emphasizes transparency, negative space, and carefully balanced proportions.

ARBA maintains its signature open structure, composed of slender wood slats that frame the seating area while allowing light to pass through. The result is a feeling of clarity and calm—an atmosphere created by what’s removed rather than added.

The updated ARBA series includes new seating and table variations, each designed to express refinement through restraint. With minimal upholstery and clean geometry, the pieces blend traditional wood craftsmanship with a forward-thinking aesthetic. This expansion reinforces Bouroullec’s ability to find depth in simplicity and his long-standing commitment to sustainable, timeless design.
