Mick Jagger celebrated his 82nd birthday with a very special guest — his young son, Deveraux!
Jagger’s partner, Melanie Hamrick, shared a series of photos via Instagram in honor of the “Moonlight Mile” singer’s birthday on Saturday, July 26. The final snap also featured a rare pic of the pair’s young son, who is 8 years old.
The photo features a smiling Devereaux and Jagger, who were wearing bunny ears and seated in front of bowls of fruit and a basket. The pair were also seen wearing blue shirts and sweaters, and making the same wide-mouthed and entertained expression.
Devereaux joined the family in December 2016.
“Melanie Hamrick and Mick Jagger’s son was born today in New York, and they are both delighted,” Jagger’s representative told Us Weekly at the time. “Mick was at the hospital for the arrival. Mother and baby are doing well and we request that the media respect their privacy at this time.”
The pair previously confirmed Hamrick’s pregnancy in July 2016. Devereaux is Hamrick’s first child, while Jagger is already a father to daughter Karis, 54, with ex Marsha Hunt; daughter Jade, 53, with ex-wife Bianca Jagger; daughters Elizabeth, 41, and Georgia May, 33, and sons James, 39, and Gabriel, 27, with ex Jerry Hall; and son Lucas, 26, with ex Luciana Gimenez.
The pair are protective of their son’s privacy, as well as the privacy of their ongoing relationship. While attending the NYC Ballet Spring Gala at the David H. Koch Theater in New York in May 2025, Hamrick told Us, “I think family is so personal, and it’s a bubble.”

“It’s nice to share things, but it’s like the ballet: there needs to be a mystery or people are going to get sick of you,” she added. “I love the Kardashians, however I’m not as comfortable in public.”
Hamrick confirmed her engagement to Jagger in April 2025, but told Paris Match that he proposed to her “two or three years” earlier.
“Maybe one day we’ll marry, maybe not,” she added.
The pair met in 2014 after a Rolling Stones performance in Tokyo, Japan, after she and the rest of the American Ballet Theatre were given complimentary tickets to the concert. Despite their 44-year age difference, Hamrick and Jagger began dating in 2015.
“Everyone’s going to have their opinion,” Hamrick told The Sunday Times in 2024 of their at-times controversial age-gap romance. “If you think about others’ opinions, no matter where you are in life, you’re going to have a problem and you’re going to analyze it. I put the blinders on. Am I happy? Yes. Are the people in my life happy? Yes. Am I hurting anyone? No. OK, they can mind their own business.”
