How Do I Get Past the AI Resume Screener That Thinks I’m Too Old?
What are the four Ps for getting ready for an interview? I’m Jeff Altman, The Big Game Hunter. People hire me for no-BS job search coaching and career advice globally because I make finding work and succeeding at it much easier.
P number one: preparation. Being prepared to tell them how your background fits what it is that they need to do and matches what they want in the way of a background.
Number two P: your presence. What does your body language communicate to them about your abilities, about your knowledge, about how comfortable you make them feel with your ability to deliver?
Number three: practice. Every great athlete practices, and without practice, you’re going to make mistakes and not demonstrate how you fit the role.
Lastly, the final P is it’s a performance. Basically, everything you do translates into a performance. And to be clear, I’m not talking about lying; I’m talking about presenting yourself in a way that allows them to trust you as the solution to what they need.
