Managing AI Coding Editors : cursor 1

The team behind Cursor has officially launched a new web application, giving users unprecedented control over a network of AI coding agents directly from their browser.

With this latest release, developers can now assign and oversee coding tasks using natural language commands from either desktop or mobile devices. Whether it’s writing new features, debugging, or making improvements across a codebase, Cursor’s background agents can be activated with a simple request, enabling asynchronous, round-the-clock development support.

The web app introduces a dynamic dashboard for real-time task management. Users can monitor agents’ progress, review work as it’s being completed, and seamlessly merge finished updates into the existing codebase—all from a single interface. If an agent is unable to fully complete a task, developers can instantly jump into Cursor’s integrated development environment (IDE) to take over.
