A man has been charged with terrorism offences after extremist material was allegedly found on a phone seized during a vehicle stop in Sydney’s south-west.
A Toyota sedan was pulled over on Dargan Street at Yagoona on December 31.
Drugs, cash and three mobile phones were allegedly seized.
A 31-year-old man was arrested and taken to Bankstown Police Station.
He was charged with supply prohibited drug greater than small & less than indictable quantity, recklessly deal with proceeds of crime less than $5,000 and use light vehicle not comply with standard – other.
He was granted conditional bail after fronting Bail Division Local Court on January 1.
The three mobile phones that were seized were examined by cops.

He was granted conditional bail after fronting Bankstown Local Court on Wednesday.
He will return to court on March 3.
