Luxury Fragrance-Inspired Exhibitions : Stories of a Miss

‘Stories of a Miss’ is the name of Dior’s upcoming exhibition in Shanghai, spotlighting the house’s iconic ‘Miss Dior’ fragrance — the first ever created by Christian Dior. Opening September 13 at the Fosun Art Foundation, the immersive show will run through October 8 and is designed by OMA New York. Tracing the scent’s artistic and emotional roots, the exhibition features sculpture, illustration, couture, and rare presentation cases, all linked by Miss Dior’s signature ribbon motif. Highlights include works by Eva Jospin, René Gruau, Judy Chicago, and six contemporary Chinese artists.

By staging Stories of a Miss in Shanghai, Dior reinforces its cultural footprint in China while leveraging fragrance heritage as a bridge to contemporary art. The exhibit serves as both brand storytelling and strategic regional engagement, deepening consumer connection in one of luxury’s most vital markets.
