Luka Doncic is making some changes to his home court.

The Los Angeles Lakers point guard announced his breakup with Anamaria Goltes more than two years after getting engaged, sharing that he is focusing on their daughters Gabriela, 2, and Olivia, 3 months.

“I love my daughters more than anything and I’ve been doing everything I can for them to be with me in the U.S. during the season, but that hasn’t been possible,” Luka said in a statement to ESPN March 10, “so I recently made the tough decision to end my engagement.”

“Everything I do is for my daughters’ happiness,” he continued, “and I will always fight to be with them and give them the best life I can.”

Prior to the 27-year-old speaking out, Anamaria, also 27, filed a legal petition in California seeking child support and attorney’s fees, according to multiple outlets.

E! News has reached out to Anamaria’s attorney for comment but has not heard back.
