The compact unit combines 1080p low-light imaging with onboard AI processing and 4G/GPS connectivity. Engineered to perform in harsh marine conditions, the HD camera system features a Sony CMOS sensor capable of capturing clear footage in near darkness (0.05 lux), alongside advanced image stabilization to counteract glare and water spray. The technology’s embedded analytics provide real-time object recognition and security alerts, while efficient H.265+ compression optimizes data usage. With dual Wi-Fi, optional cellular connectivity, and rugged IP-rated housing, the module enables remote monitoring and diagnostics directly through the propulsion system.
Initially available across ACEL’s IE-Series outboards (50-250HP), this innovation represents a convergence of navigational aid and predictive maintenance technology.
