LeBron James upstaged by daughter Zhuri, 11, as she makes ridiculous trick shot on court before Lakers game

LeBron James’ daughter Zhuri stole the spotlight at the Chase Center on Saturday night after pulling off a stunning over-the-head trick shot during warmups.

The 11-year-old took to the court in San Francisco after the Lakers legend had finished his own warmup before their game against the Golden State Warriors.

Standing at the free-throw line with her back to the basket, Zhuri launched a shot that banked in off the glass, stunning those watching on from the stands.

When asked about how she made the shot, the 11-year-old said: ‘I don’t know. I tried to make sure I was in front of the basket.’

The touching moment was topped off when Zhuri threw an alley-oop to the 41-year-old superstar, who slammed it home before the two shared a custom handshake.

The NBA shared footage of the stunning trick shot just moments before the game began in San Francisco, prompting a wave of adulation for the youngster.

‘That’s an amazing family you’ve got there. The game lives in them,’ one fan said.

Another wrote: ‘LeBron’s really gonna play with all his kids at this rate. Legend behavior.’

The rare road-game appearance for the youngster seemed to give James an apparent boost on the night as the Lakers took on the Warriors.

The 41-year-old came out firing on the night, making seven of his first ten shots, helping his team storm into a 65-47 lead by halftime.

Despite James playing just 11 minutes after the break, the Lakers secured a dominant 129-101 victory over the Warriors, who were without injured star Steph Curry.

James finished the night with 22 points, seven rebounds and nine assists as the Lakers extended their record to 35-24 for the season.

Meanwhile, it was recently revealed that a behind-the-scenes streaming series on LeBron James’ final NBA season could be worth between $40 million and $75 million for the basketball legend, according to media executives.

As reported by Anthony Lima, a broadcaster working for Cleveland’s 92.3 The Fan as well as a local CBS affiliate and ESPN+, TV execs think the media rights for James’ ‘farewell tour’ would prompt a bidding war among streaming platforms.

James is believed to be the first active NBA player to reach billionaire status and still earns more than $52 million in annual salary, so he isn’t exactly hurting for money.
