Kyle Cooke has more to say about watching his estranged wife, Amanda Batula, move on with West Wilson.
“I have real issue with a dude that manages to use his charm to get whatever he wants,” Kyle, 43, said in a Thursday, April 2, TikTok interview with Adam Glyn. “Says the right thing at the right time. I’m not saying that he manipulated Amanda, but she was clearly in a vulnerable spot.”
Kyle made it clear that he only knows “vague” details about the situation regarding Amanda, 34, and West, 31.
“I’m giving Amanda grace just because I know she — just from a mental standpoint — is fragile,” Kyle explained, noting that he doesn’t know “what to believe” about the timeline. Kyle admitted there is “some murkiness” about when he and Amanda put the statement out about their separation.
“Right now, I’m honestly more concerned about Amanda’s mental health and I am trying to get to the bottom of it because I am worried about her,” he continued. “I don’t think West is in a place to offer her what she needs. I’ve been caring and providing for her for 10 years. It’s a weird position to find myself in.”

Kyle said he’s “still in shock” and “still in disbelief” as he processes this recent reveal.
“West kind of positioned himself really conveniently to be this knight in shining armor for women,” Kyle added. “He basically threw his friendship with me away in one clean swoop.”

The biggest concern he has going forward? If everyone can film together.
“Contrary to belief, I’ve never had an issue with filming with anybody that I had beef with in 10 years,” he added.
Nearly three months after Amanda and Kyle announced their separation in January, she moved on with West.
“We’ve seen the growing online speculation, so while this is still very new, we wanted to provide some clarity. It was never our intention to purposely hide anything,” Amanda and West wrote in a joint statement shared via Instagram Stories on Tuesday, March 31. “Given the complicated relationship dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed a little space to process things privately before speaking on it.”
According to Amanda and West, their friendship eventually and naturally evolved into something romantic.
“We’ve shown up for each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows, and what’s developed recently was the last thing either of us expected,” they added. “Our connection grew out of a genuine, longstanding friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care.”
Amanda and West concluded, “As our feelings evolved, we wanted to take time to understand exactly what we were feeling. We also recognize that this has had an impact beyond just us and never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless. We truly appreciate the understanding and respect as we navigate this.”

Amanda and West’s connection not only shocked both Kyle and Ciara Miller, who previously dated West in 2023, but also their other Summer House peers.
“This has been going on for at least a month and a half, but they kept it completely under wraps,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly. “No one had a clue, and the cast brushed off the rumors at first. The general consensus was that there was no way it could be true, but as time went on, neither of them denied it, and more evidence started to surface. It left everyone completely shocked.”
Kyle, Amanda, West and Ciara are due to reunite for the Summer House cast’s season 10 reunion later this month, though their future on the Bravo series after that remains uncertain.
“It really does put into jeopardy what the show’s about because you can’t shoot Summer House if the vibes are off,” Kyle told Adam Glyn in an earlier Wednesday video. “I think that show still has legs, because there’s just an amazing group of friends, [who are] all super dynamic [at] different stages in life.”
