Justin Bieber has just dropped his latest album Swag, which features several songs about the highs and lows of relationships.
The album, released on Friday, July 11, comes amid ongoing speculation from fans about the state of Justin’s marriage to Hailey. (Justin wed Hailey in 2018 and the couple welcomed their first child, son Jack Blues in August 2024.)
Several songs on Swag feature lyrics about love as well as relationship struggles, and some appear to reference Hailey.
The 10th track on the album, titled “Walking Away” contains lyrics hinting at tough times in a relationship.
“So tell me why you’re throwing stones at my back / You know I’m defenseless,” Justin, 31, sings.
Later, he adds, “And, girl, we better stop before we say some sh** / We’ve been testing our patience / I think we better off if we just take a break / And remember what grace is.”
Despite singing about testing times, Justin appeared to suggest he was in the marriage for the long haul.
“Baby, I ain’t walking away / You were my diamond / Gave you a ring / I made you a promise,” he sings. “I told you, ‘I’d change’ / It’s just human nature / These growing pains / And baby, I ain’t walking away.”

In another part of the song, Justin appears to acknowledge issues in a relationship, before doubling down on his earlier sentiments.
“I know we have this moment to face,” he sings. “Baby, I ain’t walking away.”
Meanwhile, in “Go Baby,” another track on the album, Justin references Hailey as he sings the line, “That’s my baby, she’s iconic, iPhone case, lip gloss on it.” Hailey is the founder of beauty brand Rhode, which she recently sold for $1 billion. One of the famous products Rhode released was a phone case with a built-in lip gloss holder.
Justin again sings about tough times, and offers a shoulder to cry on during the dark days.
“When sunlight turns to shadow and it gets hard to face / Like water to a flower, babe, I know you need the rain / Nothing needs to work out and nothing needs to break / Don’t need to pretend that you’re okay,” the lyrics read.
“So cry on my shoulder, just turn into me / Cry on my shoulder whenever you need it,” Justin continues, later adding, “Lay you down and I can love it away, just stay by my side.”
The song “Daisy” also appeared to touch on similar relationship themes.
“Throwin’ petals like, ‘Do you love me or not?’ / Head is spinnin’, and it don’t know when to stop / You said ‘Forever,’ babe, did you mean it or not?” Justin sings. “And if it ain’t right, babe, you know I respect it / But if you need time, just take your time / Honey, I get it, I get it, I get it.”
