John Harbaugh launches New York Giants era by signing two ex-Ravens stars Isaiah Likely and Jordan Stout

John Harbaugh has come back to haunt his former Baltimore Ravens team by swooping for tight end Isaiah Likely and punter Jordan Stout.

The pair both entered free agency after their Ravens deals expired and now move to join their former head coach at the New York Giants.

The move to sign Likely is especially eye-catching and he arrives as another exciting puzzle piece on their offense.

He’ll line up alongside quarterback Jaxson Dart, running back Cam Skattebo and wide receiver Malik Nabers, who is on the comeback trail after tearing his ACL early in the 2025 campaign.

The 25-year-old Likely’s move, first reported by NFL Insider Jordan Schultz, is expected to be on a three-year deal worth around $47million.

Schultz added that Likely had interest from all over the NFL but it was clear that he wanted to go to the Giants. The Ravens had tried to get Likely to agree a new deal in Baltimore over the past 12 months but the two parties couldn’t agree on terms.

Stout, meanwhile, has agreed a huge $12.3m deal with the Giants.

Harbaugh and the Giants also hold the fifth pick in the first round of next month’s NFL Draft.

The head coach departed the Ravens after 18 seasons earlier this year after they failed to make the postseason.

It sparked huge interest in the Super Bowl winner but he opted to take over at the Giants on a five-year deal and try to rebuild a team that has endured a miserable past few years.

There is still plenty of work to do but as free agency opened on Monday, there was a growing sense that better days are ahead of the blue half of New York.
