This #short highlights a classic mistake job hunters make–thinking a job description or job ad is accurate.

Pay Attention to the Signals in the Job Description and Interview

Do you think an ad or job description you’ve seen is accurate and what it is that they’re really looking for? -Job descriptions are at best 80 percent accurate. Typically, they’re some institutional document used to fill previous positions like this one, and are rarely updated.
