Is this the best focal length for practically everything?

All photographers have a go-to camera or lens (and even camera + lens combo), whatever the genre or level of expertise. But an all-around focal length for practically everything? That’s usually a highly subjective topic, but let’s hear what it is for travel photographer Sean Dalton, and why.

In the video above, Dalton tells us why he thinks 35mm in a prime lens is the best focal length for a variety of genres, from landscapes, portraits and automotive, to interiors, architecture, travel and street photography. Since he’s been using the lens in his work over the past five or six years, he thought about the six reasons why this focal length has been an all-time favorite.

So, do you agree with Dalton’s reasons? Or do you have a favorite focal length of your own? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
