Insanity Promotes Courtneay Mann & Ed Griffiths To Talent Director

EXCLUSIVE: Maya Jama’s agency Insanity has promoted two to talent director.

Effective immediately, Courtneay Mann and Ed Griffiths become talent directors within the London shop’s entertainment team.

Mann has been with Insanity for nearly a decade, representing the likes of presenters Yinka Bokinni, Sian Eleri and Kemi Rodgers, along with Channel 4 documentary maker and explorer Lucy Shepherd. She previously worked for First Artists and James Grant (now YMU), with former clients including Richard Branson, Alison Hammond and Greg James.

Since joining Insanity in 2019, Griffiths has had a talent roster including Zara McDermott, broadcaster Jo Whiley, journalist and beauty expert Sali Hughes, Channel 4 food presenter Ravneet Gill and Mama Still Got It’s Louise Boyce. He used to work for InterTalent, where he played a key role in guiding the career of Olympic gold medallist Nicola Adams.

Insanity boss Andy Varley said Mann and Griffiths have “played a pivotal role in shaping the careers of some of the most exciting talent in the UK, and their leadership, instinct and commitment to the long game make them invaluable members of the team.” “As Insanity continues to grow, it’s vital that we build a strong senior management structure that not only supports our clients, but also empowers and develops the next generation of talent managers,” he added.

Insanity reps the likes of Jama, Roman Kemp, Vick Hope, Jo Whiley, Mollie King and Sam Thompson. Earlier this year, the agency hired Emily Gray and Rosie Luff join from rival agency Komodo.
