Influencer Arun Tupe has died at age 26.
Indian news outlets India TV News and NDTV reported that Tupe was found dead at his home in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, India, on Tuesday, March 10. He was later taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Content creator Vinod Patil, who was a friend of Tupe’s, claimed in a Facebook tribute that the influencer died of a heart attack. A cause of death has not been publicly released by authorities.
“My young friend, Reelstar Arun Tupe passed away [from a] heart attack,” Patil wrote. “A very sad news has come out from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar city. Arun Tupe, the famous reel star and social media content creator who made thousands of people smile through his reels and comedy videos passed away from a severe heart attack this morning. Their sudden departure is slowly expressing the social media world including the city.”

“Arun left too soon baby I felt so happy to see your reels this is the same Arun who used to call me aunty behind me in childhood. Today I feel very painful to write a heartfelt tribute to you….. Come back Arun,” one user wrote, while another added, “Rest in peace.”
Tupe rose to fame online with more than 190,000 followers on Instagram, where he shared comedic videos. In his Instagram bio, Tupe describes himself as a “content creator” and “actor,” writing in a translated message, “I like to make you laugh nothing else😁.”
He shared his final post to Instagram on Monday, March 9, where he parodied how content creators film social media content. In July 2025, Tupe celebrated a milestone moment when he reached more than 100,000 followers on the social media platform. Alongside the message, Tupe shared a photo of him smiling as he sat cross-legged and placed his hands in a prayer.
“Thanks to all of you, the ‘100k’ milestone has been reached today..!” he wrote in a translated Instagram message at the time. “I love every single person equally. I thank you all for your overwhelming response to my honest efforts and with your support, I will continue to make you laugh… My beloved father and mother, your Arun Tupe will never be short of entertainment for you. I had dreams… but with your support, I took them to the next level! Thank you all so much..!”
