E! spoke with celebrity hairstylist and The Beachwaver Co. CEO and co-founder Sarah Potempa about the nature of trends—and why this PARTicular hair look is resonating again.

“The ’90s are back,” she said. “Trends are cyclical, so we are at the point where we are circling back to the side part. What we love about a side part is that when styled properly, it can create incredible volume and movement in the hair.
