BLK BOX, a company that specializes in creating temporary training facilities for high-profile sporting events, has been commissioned to outfit the training areas for two major golf tournaments — the Scottish Open and the Ryder Cup. The fitness environment installations have been described as comprehensive, as they provide athletes with a full suite of equipment for strength training, cardiovascular conditioning, and post-exercise recuperation within a layout that emphasizes efficient use of space and logical organization.
BLK BOX’s approach focuses on creating versatile and cohesive temporary training facilities that cater to the specific physical preparation and recovery needs of professional golfers during competition. Dan Coughlan, Strength & Conditioning Lead for the DP World Tour, shared: “This is a really nice open space. All the equipment is provided by BLK BOX – the racks, cables, specialty bars, and even the attachments. The players love the trap bars and the safety bar. The cables are integrated and incredibly popular. It’s got everything we need.”
