Thankfully, this video has now gone even more viral than the clipped one, with many thanking Kristal for taking the time to clear Hailey’s name.
In the comments, the popular TikToker responded to people saying that Hailey would have been within her rights to say that she didn’t like to be touched by fans had that been true, with Kristal agreeing wholeheartedly before reiterating that even so, this simply wasn’t the case. She wrote: “she would have [the] right to set boundaries because we do not personally know each other but that isn’t what happened.”
Kristal, who is Black, also said that it was important for her to speak out because people were accusing Hailey of racism after seeing the edited clip. She wrote: “she has every right to set boundaries if thats what it was. But it wasn’t and people were twisting the short clip narrative on here & Twitter to say ‘she wouldnt do that to a white fan.’”
Elsewhere, Kristal explained that the security guard who interrupted them was not with Hailey, and worked for the restaurant seen in the background of the video. She also revealed that this meeting actually took place three years ago, despite only recently going viral.
