NFL superstar Josh Allen and wife Hailee Steinfeld have announced the birth of their baby daughter.

The actress and singer, 29, made the announcement in a post to her Substack, titled ‘Special Delivery’ on Thursday morning. She wrote: ‘Our baby girl has arrived!!

‘We’re feeling incredibly grateful and blessed and savouring these early moments. Thank you so much for the love and well wishes.’

The Buffalo Bills quarterback, 29, and ‘Sinners’ actress got married in May 2025 and revealed they were expecting a baby back in December with a video of Allen kissing Steinfeld’s stomach.

Steinfeld has shared updates with fans throughout her pregnancy. In a recent blog post titled ‘Getting ducks in a row’, she said: ‘While tuning in, I’ve experienced this surreal, full-body awareness that our world is about to expand in beautiful ways. 

‘We’re getting ready to meet someone we already love so much. I’ve racked my brain for words to describe that feeling, and I don’t have them yet. Maybe that’s the point. For now, I’m blessed to be settling into the feeling.’

Steinfeld wrote in her Beau Society newsletter the couple are ‘incredibly grateful and blessed’

The actress and her NFL player husband announced they were expecting back in December

In a January press conference, Allen also said that being a father will be ‘the most important thing I’ll ever be’.

‘It’s something that I will take with great pride. And we’re going to have to figure things out on the go, just like anything else,’ he said.

‘But this is the most important thing I’ll ever be in my life, being a dad. And I know I love being a football player, and I love being a quarterback for the Buffalo Bills. But I’m looking forward to this one.’
