Gwyneth Paltrow waited for a supreme occasion to make her grand return to the Actor Awards.

That is, an occasion in addition to the show—which was called the SAG Awards up until this year—having a theme, “Reimagining Hollywood Glamour from the ’20s and ’30s,” which brought out some of the most glam fashion of awards season so far.

The 53-year-old of course rose to the occasion in a lacy black Givenchy gown with a plunging neckline, her hair chicly pulled back in a style reminiscent of her famous 1999 Oscar night ‘do. Her turquoise drop earrings were by Belperron.

But back to the matter at hand, Paltrow attended the ceremony for the first time since 2000 (the 6th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards) as part of the ensemble from Marty Supreme, which is vying for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture against the principal players from One Battle After Another, Frankenstein, Hamlet and Sinners.
