Edoardo Lietti designed the Sedia Tonda, which is a unique armchair defined by its geometric perforations and flat-packed nature. At a quick look, it looks like a regular armchair, but there is something to discover the more it is looked at as it boasts the aesthetic of a modern art sculpture.
The bold circle shapes play perfectly with the clean square cuts to bring the eye’s attention throughout the silhouette. The Sedia Tonda is made with sustainable values as it is crafted from birch plywood — a renewable material that keeps it light and durable. The wood is also treated with natural pigments, and it comes in three finishes: hand-painted carmine red, a darker palette, and a lighter wood hue.
