Fresh CCTV footage has shown a new sighting of a fugitive drill rapper on the run ahead of his scheduled deportation flight – as a police manhunt for the gang member enters its ninth day.
Daniel Boakye, 21, was set to be removed from Britain to Ghana later this year after he was jailed in July 2023 for a series of knifepoint robberies.
Boakye, an inmate of HMP Feltham in Hounslow, escaped custody after fleeing from Lewisham Hospital in south-east London on February 15. He was taken there for medical treatment.
Five days earlier, on 10 February, he also escaped after eluding a prison officer escort at West Middlesex University Hospital, before being recaptured by Met Police officers the following day.
Now, police have now shared an updated image of the fugitive, whose manhunt has entered its second week.
The latest picture of Boakye – who is serving a six year prison sentence – shows him on CCTV boarding a London bus. It is unclear at this stage which bus route he was on.
In the picture, he is wearing a dark grey zip-up top, grey tracksuit bottoms and black trainers with white soles.

The sighting comes only one week after the fugitive, also known by his rapper name DSavv, posted a video online taunting officers trying to track him down.
A clip posted on Tuesday, February 17 to his Instagram account, which has nearly 500,000 followers, shows the criminal rapping while smoking a joint, with the caption ‘I’m free.’
The footage sees Boakye brag, ‘I just broke out of jail like Modie’ – a reference to a character in the Netflix crime drama Top Boy, played by London rapper Dave.
He goes onto say, ‘F*** the government fam, there [sic] phoneys,’ while a picture of Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer is displayed on-screen.
Boakye then added, ‘Prison break, s*** fam – f*** these police,’ with a news article about his escape playing on a television in the background.
The thug also bragged that he is ‘fresh home,’ before looking down the lens of the camera as he celebrates enjoying ‘free cannabis’ and ‘champagne.’
Detectives have since appealed for information to help find the convict and have released a mugshot in hopes it will aid their search.

Boakye, of Enfield, north London, was sentenced to six years and five months in prison in July 2023 over several armed gang robberies.
He and three other then-teenagers robbed more than £155,000 of cryptocurrency at knifepoint in a series of thefts across London between June 2021 and January 2022.
His co-conspirators, Justin Popoola, Nathan Mohalland, and a 17-year-old, who legally cannot be named, were also all jailed.
The thugs forced their victims to hand over their phones and the passwords needed to unlock them and access the digital currency while threatening them with knives.
They then emptied the cryptocurrency stored on the mobiles into ‘hot wallets.’
The teenagers were caught by detectives after using the stolen bank details to order takeaway meals to their homes.
Following Boakye’s most recent sighting, a spokesperson for the Met Police said: ‘Officers searching for a 21-year-old man who absconded from Lewisham Hospital are releasing a new image, as they continue to appeal to the public for information.
